Wegman’s! That brings back great memories. I went to grad school in Rochester and, apart from the people, Wegman’s is what I miss most from the place.

I love Wegman’s. In fact, when BF and I were moving to PA, we told the realtor we wanted to live near Wegmans and that is how we found our house! The only thing I will miss about PA when we move!

I am not sure how, but I have been to a Wegman’s. I can’t seem to recall when, where or why; but, I remember it being something of a surreal experience. Mmmm….frozen custard.

I heart Wegmans – I get to go every week and I love it there. Our impending move to Michigan is tinged with sadness as we know there will be no Wegmans and nothing like it there. I will take solace in your shopping excursions to that great mecca of grocery stores. Grab some sushi or steak or one of those fantastic looking desserts.

Delurking to say welcome back to Rochester. Lived there for the first 33 years of my life then made the grand move down the thruway to Syracuse. Thank goodness that Wegmans is here also! I miss Abbott’s and always take my boys to get a dish when visiting relatives. Make sure you have a Zweigles hot for me!

I’ll have to ask my DH about Abbott’s. He’s never mentioned it before. He’s originally from that area (Phelps to be specific). Oh, but Wegmans!!! I love that place.

When our Wegman’s finally opened here in Fairfax, VA it caused such a traffic jam that continued for days!! Now, during the holidays you have to be in the “know” as when to go to make sure you can find parking.
