i remember well being overwhelmed with gratitude as a new mother, many people did so much for us, it was unbelievable!
but now i know what joy it is to do something/anything for a new mother and her baby, there is very little more rewarding than that.
Thank you for sharing your life with us!

I just wanted to leave a comment to say that I am one of probably many people out here in the big wide world of the internet that read and enjoy your blog! I stumbled upon your blog as a fellow knitter, and have enjoyed reading your reflections. You seem like someone of great creativity, warmth humor and I must also say that your little one is adorable. I'm glad to read you have experienced friendship and kindness during your first year as a parent!

Awww, I'm not even a mom and I'm tearing up! I hope that when we do have kids, I will be so lucky as to have experiences like yours.

I love the cloth diaper and clothes sharing! Owen's small FBs are now being worn by another little boy, and Owen has been the recipient of hand me downs from our friends with twins. Those boxes included handknit sweaters from the twins' mom and grandmom, and it meant so much to me that they were passed on to us. So much love and caringvin all of it!

Those same covers I lent to you and Sophia, are now being worn by my best friend Miranda's 6lb baby. We've been over there twice in this past week with gifts, help, food, and love. I'm going to turn her towards this post because nothing could hit home more to her right now.

Love to you all! We are happy to be part of your lives.
