Lust

I am a bit of an office supply catelog whore.  I love them.  I lust after new shiny organizational items.  Setting up a new office at work has been heaven on earth for me these past few weeks.  The thrill of a find, new possibilities, bargain hunting.

I knew when I saw these, it was a match made in heaven.

Every office supply whore needs a pair of fishnets.  Fishnet file holders that is.

    I’m the same way, new colors of 3 ring binders, and fancy styles of labels practically curl my toes. Whoever thought it was a good idea to put me in charge of ordering all office supplies didn’t know what they were doing :)

    Now and then I think I am finally going to get organized, and I go to Staples and buy folders and file boxes and racks of buckets, all in bright pretty colors, and… generally the system works for about two weeks, and then the volume of unclassified objects begins to build again. But I do so enjoy the magpie beginning.

    I’m right there with you about office supplies. I don’t have room for it but I saw that fileholder and thought “ooh, pretty” Office supplies and the Container Store - there’s no better combination.

    ZOMG, I’m so pleased that I’m not the only person in the world who magpies office supplies. Does your fascination extend to paper and writing utensils and RULERS? There’s so much promise in an office full of supplies just waiting to be loved.

    Hi, my name is kmkat and I’m an office supply whore, too. I love to wander up and down the aisles of a really good office supply store. Not just Staples and OfficeMax and Office Depot, but the old-style ones like St. Paul Book and Stationary. Writing instruments and fancy post-it notes and desk organizers and… fishnet file holders. Heaven.

    LOL! I’m loving this impromptu office supplies anonymous meeting! I’m also an office supply fanatic/whore/addict. My boss lived in Japan for several years and has told me stories about the office supply stores there. From what he’s said, the entire country is our kindred spirit. And apparantly there’s one of these Japanese supply store in San Francisco, which ticks me off because I never knew about the place while I lived there. Can you believe it???
