I love NYC and would move there in a flash if someone would fund the lifestyle I would enjoy! I'd love to gtake Til there one day but I think our NYC experience would be WAY different to the single woman out on the town experiences I had between 2000-2003.

Between you and Vicki/knitorious, I am longing for a visit to NYC. #1 son went to college there (NYU) and now is at Mt. Sinai medical school, so I have an excuse. Just need to find the time (and cheap airfair).

Sounds like a great trip. One of my favorite things about living in NYC is all the food options and hearing about how I absolutely must check out some new cream puff place or whathaveyou.

My only suggestion for surviving without a decent Indian restaurant is to learn to cook it at home. The book I use is called New Indian Home Cooking. It's also my survival tip for living someplace where eating out is so expensive.
