It’s beginning to look a lot like…
Here we are the week of Christmas and I am at work. Bah Humbug. I love Christmas and I miss being a student – I want three weeks off!!!
As a consolation prize I am going to spend some time blogging this week during my down times. Cool? I thought so.
Yah, so – I’m preggars. In my third trimester and feeling pretty good. I am having issues with anemia and lightheadedness, as I did with Miss S, which sucks. But – in the grand scheme of things it is small beans. While I am not in love with being pregnant I am enjoying the idea of having another little monster in my life. Sophia has been such a blast this past year and I am REALLY excited to spend Christmas with her. I love this time of year and it is even more fun looking at it through her eyes.
We have found out the sex of the baby. We had our ultrasound on Halloween. It was touch-and-go there for a minute as the little rascel had its legs crossed. We were looking at him from the bottom up and all we could see where little indian legs with feet covering the important bits. Modesty in an in utero baby is way over rated. Fortunately our tech was VERY patient and she offered to leave for a few minutes to let me walk around. I did and we had success almost right away. In fact – the baby had decided to flash us every chance it got! My mom was there with Rob and I, which was great. Soon after the getting the machine fired up, the picture became clear and there was little denying what was there.
(You’re looking up here, the baby is sitting on his legs. Just in case you can’t quite see it, the tech was nice enough to label it.)
Now, I know this is a bit of an invasion of the poor little monster’s privacy. However, I knew you all could appreciate the fun here – and the fact that our ultrasound tech labeled it – that really has kept my giggling for weeks.
Oh, and a boy?! Holy shit. I thought I had it all figured out and here we go again. Oy.
